Three bottles of scotch

Three bottles of scotch
don't blend it
don't even think about it
Take the good with the bad
(as they say)

Never once did I think well
when on the other things
Write drunk
edit sober
(as he said)

Pressure on an empty stomach
dry mouth
aching head
and we go on and on and on and on and on.
Until the Sun shines
and the Moon is forced to hide.

  1. I liked your previous poems and I like this one too, but I'm not much into drinking so I may not understand it well.
Anyway if you want you can check out my new blog called "The Crooked Life" and it might be interesting to you.

    1. Thank you very much for the comment. I however think it's a bit more about the hangover than the drinking part.
